Welcome!
Hello, I'm Glen Meyer, a teacher, tutor, writer, and philosopher living and working in Austin, Texas.

If you are finding any mathematics or physics classes a challenge, I would love to help you rise above your anxieties and struggles and reach your educational goals. I fully understand the frustrations of learning a difficult subject or skill, having done so many times in my life.

What I strive to provide as a consultant and tutor is a supportive connection so that clients and students can learn and grow. Everyone learns best when they have a solid alliance with a dedicated and thoughtful, patient companion. If you continue to have bad experiences with mathematics or any related subjects, maybe you need more support or a different kind of support to bring out your talents. I tailor my teaching to each person’s natural style, needs, and goals, whether those goals are improving their grades, preparing for an entrance exam, developing their mathematical or statistical skills to advance in a career, understanding a subject in much more depth, or simply learning something new and fascinating.

I offer two types of services.
For clients needing only a few hours of tutoring every now and then, I offer tutoring at $49/hour.
For those who want more consistent, long-term one on one tutoring I offer monthly packages that include more than the one on one tutoring sessions and where the effective hourly rate for tutoring is lower than my regular hourly rate.

Each package includes:

-
Consultation at any time regarding any concerns that pop up as well as making future plans;
-
Depending on your needs, four to twelve hours of regularly scheduled, one on one tutoring and interaction (along with the preparatory work required for these) with the option to add additional hours at a reduced rate of $32/hour (down from $49/hour);
-
On demand availability Sunday through Thursday during the evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 pm to help with brief questions that come up for homework assignments and test preparations;
-
Reduced rates for any classes I offer;
-
Reasonable availability for you or your children to communicate with me outside of sessions; and
-
Access to written material and other resources as these items become available
For an initial, free consultation and more information, including more specifics about prices, please contact me directly at 214-395-3983 (a text message or phone call will be fine), at meyersv1@yahoo.com or fill out the contact form below. I’ll get back to you within a day or two.

What is the cost of the Mathematical Copilot Program?
Private tutoring for advanced subjects and hourly coaching over extended periods of time can run into the thousands of dollars per month. With my Mathematical Copilot packages, the regular price is well under one thousand, usually between $250 to $500 a month, depending on how many hours of one on one tutoring is included.

I also offer a risk-free guarantee: if after one month, it’s not working as you like, something has gone wrong, or you’re just not feeling right, you can let me know and I’ll provide a full refund.
